Apartment
We got approved for the apartment (more of a town home actually) we liked and today we went and signed the lease.  I'm very excited.

I let my mother know this was going to happen.  I did it slowly over a few weeks.  I broke it to her gently rather than drop it into her lap all at once.  She took it well.  She didn't get visibly mad or angry and didn't cry or get upset.  I know that in a way I have broke her heart and she is disappointed in me, but as I have said from the beginning this isn't about her this is about Christine, Hailey and myself.  We are doing what makes sense for us, logistically, financially and emotionally.

In other news I have made several hundred dollars clearing out some of my old out of print game books.  Its pretty amazing, I'm getting way more than what Half-Price books would ever pay for them and in some cases I'm getting more for them than I paid for them at Half-Price books.  If the current rate of sale keeps up it wont be too long before I hit my goal.  Then only good things happen after that and maybe someone will stop rolling their eyes at me.

Yes, those last couple of sentences were intentionally cryptic.

Annoyed
I want to have a drink but I don't want to drink on an empty stomach, so I grab a snack.  This annoys Christine because she is about to fix dinner.  Now because she is annoyed, I'm annoyed.  All this because of a sweet, sweet beer.  Maybe I'll just go back to complaining about how my stomach hurts when drinking on an empty stomach.
